Winter break camps 2025-2026
This Winter Break, we celebrate the magic of the season with Art Camps at Freehand!
Registration is open to kids in JK to Grade 7. JK-SK participants (children born in 2019 and 2020) are grouped together. Gr 1 to 7 participants are split into two age groups.
AM Program: 9:30am-12:00pm
PM Program: 1:00pm-3:30pm
Full Day Program: 9:30am-3:30pm - lunch supervision 12:00pm-1:00pm is included
$115 +HST full day camp
$60 +HST AM or PM camp
For half-day participants, please remember to pack a nut-free snack and a water bottle. For full-day participants, please remember to pack a nut-free lunch and 2 nut-free snacks.
Second and additional siblings registered for the same session save 10%!

Mon December 22
December 22 - Morning 9:30-12:00 Cozy Kitty Painting
We'll create cozy, holiday vibes this morning with these cats snoozing in front of a fireplace.
December 22 - Afternoon 1:00-3:30 Winter Window Plasticine Painting
This afternoon we'll 'paint with clay' to make a cat silhouetted against a wintery window.
Tues December 23
December 23 - Morning 9:30-12:00 Modelling Clay Bird Ornaments
We'll pay tribute to some of our favourite feathered friends with these sweet ornaments.
December 23 - Afternoon 1:00-3:30 Winter Village Lanterns
This afternoon we'll celebrate the warmth of the season as we create these glowing paper lanterns.

December 29 - Morning 9:30-12:00 Ice Castle Paintings
Take a wintry escape with us this morning as we create these cool-coloured, sparkling paintings!
December 29 - Afternoon 1:00-3:30 Boba Buddies
Learn some fun drawing and painting techniques this afternoon while we boba tea our hearts out!
Tues December 30
December 30 - Morning 9:30-12:00 Winter Forest Painting
Let's celebrate the beauty of a winter's morning in the forest! This morning, we will learn all about acrylic painting with this Impressionistic scene.
December 30- Afternoon 1:00-3:30 Penguin Printmaking
We'll escape to the South Pole this afternoon while we create a mixed media portrait of a group of penguins gazing at the Northern Lights.
Fri January 2
January 2 - Morning 9:30-12:00 Baby Owl Painting
This morning, we’ll cozy up to some snowy owl babies as we create these adorable paintings.
January 2 - Afternoon 1:00-3:30 Owl Close-up Drawing
This afternoon we'll learn all about composition, colour and cropping as we draw these owl close-ups!
Registration policies
FEES
All program fees are non-refundable. School credit can be issued for cancellations made within 14 days prior to the start of the program. School credit is transferable within families. There is a $50 administration fee for changes requested less than 14 days prior to program start.
Make-up Classes
We are unable to offer make-up classes due to student absence, illness, or for any other reason. Classes cannot be prorated or credited for missed classes or carried over to following sessions.
Should the studio need to cancel a course due to low enrolment, all students will be notified in advance, and full refunds issued.
Behaviour and Respect
We foster a community of positivity, safety, and mutual respect. All participants are expected to conduct themselves safely and respectfully with both fellow participants and instructors alike. We reserve the right to make changes to existing enrollments when this policy is violated. If a participant is removed for violation of this policy, no refund or credit will be issued.
